Sinus Pack and Relaxation Mask Guide
Learn how to use the Bed Buddy Sinus Pack and Relaxation Mask warm on the forehead or cool over tired eyes, with face-area safety notes.
Quick answer
The Sinus Pack is a hot or cold pack with straps for the head area. The Relaxation Mask has an elastic band and a satin backing, and can be warm on the forehead or cold over tired eyes. A heated pack should never be placed over the eyes. Follow your tag for the time.
Applies to: BBF2108 (Sinus Pack) and BBF4014-12 (Relaxation Mask). Some listings for face and eye packs show different model numbers, so match the tag on your own pack.

Warm use
- Heat the pack only as your tag directs. Face-area packs are small and their times differ from the larger wraps.
- Touch-test it. It should feel warm, not hot, and check for hot spots.
- Place it on the forehead or sinus area, not directly on the eyes.
- Stay awake and nearby, and take it off if the skin feels uncomfortable.
Cold use
- Place the pack in the freezer. Several hours is typical for our hot and cold wraps, so check your tag.
- For tired or puffy eyes, the cold Relaxation Mask can rest over the eye area.
- Keep a short session, and check your skin.
Never put a heated pack over the eyes. Warm use is for the forehead or other parts of the face area your tag allows. Cold use is the only use we describe over the eyes.
Why we keep the instructions apart
Face and eye skin is thin and sensitive. The general guidance for our body wraps does not carry over. Use only the instructions printed for the face-area pack in front of you.
Latex
Product listings for face and eye packs differ on materials, and some mention natural rubber latex. If you have a latex allergy, confirm with the label of your own pack before use, or choose another product.
Headaches and sinus discomfort
Many people use warmth or cool comfort when they feel tension or sinus pressure. These packs are comfort products and do not treat a condition. See a doctor if you have severe or recurring headaches, vision changes or eye pain.
People with nerve damage, circulatory problems, sensitive or broken skin, or who cannot remove the pack themselves, and pregnant users, should talk to a doctor before use.
