Bed Buddy Aromatherapy Scents Guide

A guide to Bed Buddy scents: unscented, orange, pink, green, lavender and chamomile, plus how scent works when the heat pack is warm.

Quick answer

Some of our wraps are unscented, and others are lightly fragranced. Original-style wraps come in white (unscented), Balance Orange, Bliss Pink and Fresh Green. Several comfort wraps use lavender and chamomile. Scent is a comfort touch and varies by model, so check the variant before you buy.

Applies to: BBF1998-12 and the Original-style scented variants, BBF4001-12 (Neck Pillow), BBF4002-12 (neck wrap with hand pockets), BBF4000-12 (Comfort Pack), BBF4015-12 (Comfort Wrap), BBF3110-12 (Warming Footies).

How scent behaves

Warmth tends to bring out fragrance, so a scented wrap smells stronger when it is heated and softer when cold. Scent fades over time. If a wrap is unscented, a faint grain smell when warm is normal. See why does my Bed Buddy smell.

Choosing a scent

  1. Not sure? Start with white, unscented.
  2. Want something calming? Lavender and chamomile wraps are our most common comfort scents.
  3. Prefer something fresh? Fresh Green leans on eucalyptus, rosemary and lemongrass.
  4. Sensitive to fragrance? Choose unscented, and stop using any wrap whose smell bothers you.

A note on allergies

A scent description is not a full ingredient list. For example, a note such as "almond scent" does not tell you whether any almond material is in the wrap. If you have allergies, check your tag and listing, and ask your doctor. The filling also varies by model, so we do not make allergy-free claims for the line.

Reminder: Warm scents should not tempt you to heat longer. Use the time on your own tag.
