January 2026
An announcement
In January 2026 Drive Medical announced a definitive agreement to acquire Compass Health Brands, the company whose consumer brands include Carex and Bed Buddy.
We report the announcement as published, nothing more.
Three promises sewn into every wrap.
Short, plain, and the reason people keep one nearby.
Natural.
Natural fill
Grains, herbs and flowers sit inside the channels. That fill is what holds the warmth or the cool.
Unplugged.
No cords or outlets while you use it
You warm it in the microwave first. After that there is nothing to plug in, so you can settle in wherever you like.
Again.
Made to be reused
Warm it, chill it, put it away, and come back to it. Always follow the tag on your wrap for your model.
Crafted, channel by channel.
A wrap is only as good as how it is sewn. Here is the idea behind ours, drawn from scratch.
- 1
Segmented channels
Stitched in sections so the grain stays spread along the whole length instead of sliding to one end.
- 2
Rope loops
On the original wrap, rope or strap handles let you draw it snug around your neck and shoulders.
- 3
Soft fabric
A soft cover that drapes easily against you, warm or cool.
- 4
Natural grain fill
Grains, herbs and flowers inside every channel give the wrap its weight and its comfort.

Verified PurchaseI love Bed Buddies! I first used them 20 years ago in caring for my mother, who was ill. She was cold natured, and they were physically and psychologically comforting.
Cassandra
Verified PurchaseMy mom was elderly and used these to help her hands (we did not use the neck part). At 96, they were incredibly soothing to her hands, both for warmth and for movement.
